Counseling provides a safe space for people to explore life's challenges, receive support, create solutions, gain insight and work toward your desired changes. Client's in my practice are typically adolescents, college students and adults of all ages. Areas of focus include depressed mood, anxiety, loss, self-esteem, relationship challenges, transitions, social concerns, work and school challenges, trauma, adjustment and personal growth.
Using a blend of cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused and systemic approaches, I provide support, guidance and reflection for clients as they work toward reaching their goals, increasing self-awareness and making improvements in communication and relationships.
I believe people's behavior/feelings typically make sense if you consider the impact of variables within that person's life such as family dynamics, history, culture, background, etc. My goal is to provide a safe space for you to explore these variables. I see you as the expert on you. I view myself as a support and guide during your journey of emotional and personal growth.
